

The City of Içara is located in the Southern part of the State of Santa Catarina about 20 minutes west from Atlantic Coast and 60 minutes east of the Serra Catarinense plateau. The people, known as Içarenses, are mostly of European descent.
God called Diego and Bruna to plant a church in Içara. It has not been easy but it has been rewarding as their family has grown through it and people have come to Christ.
After serving for years in Brazil’s armed forces, Tarik felt led by God to plant a church in the tough City of Novo Hamburgo. Tarik, his wife Sol and their son Benjamin have experienced God’s favor in seeing the church grow.

Engaging people with the gospel is hard anywhere, but even more so in a place where cultural Catholicism dominates. This group of Christ-followers does so through love-filled relationships.
